The James Harden-Ben Simmons situation is FINALLY over. Cross it off the list of yet another unhappy superstar that gets their way in an increasingly volatile league. Right now seems like the time to take a breath from all of the crazy player movement, right?

Harden wanted out a year ago, and then at this deadline as well. Simmons cost himself tens of millions of dollars to force his way out of Philly. Damian Lillard (for sure) and Bradley Beal (kind of) seem locked in to their teams for now… but SOMEBODY has to be next up on the star trade request watch. That is the reality of the modern NBA… the movement of star players is never REALLY done… And I hate to be the one to tell you this Jazz fans… but Donovan Mitchell is next.
