Jeff Bezos was banned from buying an NFL team. The Washington commanders are for sale for just 6 billion dollars and although there are a limited number of people who could buy the team, Jeff Bezos has been deemed not worthy and is barred from even bidding at the private auction.
Dan and Tanya Snyder the current owners apparently “hold a grudge” against Bezos, according to the New York Post, because Bezos owns the Washington Post, which had previously reported on the Commanders’ “toxic workplace culture” under Snyder.
All of this is despite a private auction receiving 2 bids of around 5.5 billion dollars and not meeting the 6 asking price and bezos being actively interested in pursuing the purchase.
