The Bowie State Bulldogs named Dr. Cavil’s 2021 Mid-Major Division HBCU National Champions presented by SlowBurnWaco.com – This is their third consecutive title under Coach Wilson and the third in four years. The 2020 HBCU Mid-Major season was cancelled due to COVID-19 – Best record in school history in 12-2 over and making it to the NCAA Division II Playoffs regional champion. In the modern era, the two divisional HBCU championship since 2002, Bowie State now ranks second tied with Albany State with three titles behind Tuskegee and Winston-Salem State’s four titles.
