BOSTON, MA -- Derrick White was interviewed following Boston's 134-112 blowout win over the Timberwolves on Sunday night. Boston has ripped off 6 straight wins and now have the 1st seed in the Eastern Conference. "Just kind of went through that rough patch, so where you weren't feeling good," said White on his slump. "Shout out to my teammates, coaching staff for keeping me confident. ... Hopefully I can keep this stretch going and not get complacent."

On how he felt mentally as he tried to figure out what was messing with his shot, White said “Your mind kind of goes crazy. You try to critique this little thing here, this little thing there … Just try to clear your mind and go back to the basics.”

White had gone to high school with Red Sox Infielder Bobby Dalbec, and the two were teammates for basketball. "Bobby can shoot" joked White, "He had a nice little jump shot and he was big, good size. His basketball IQ I think needed some work. I don't know how good he said he was, but he was pretty good for us. Big off the bench."
